A common thought: Why does everything seem to happen wrong in this world and I feel I can’t do anything about it?

How we can save the world :)

All centralised forms of power need to be released

True Democracy has the power to free us all, with the power of the internet+technology, children at some point will rise up knowing right from wrong, and have the most peaceful revolution imaginable.

BAH! You say J But lets look at the facts, there has never been a human empire that hasn’t fallen before.

But that’s history some would say, who says we haven’t got it right this time?

Does it feel right to you?

If it feels like the world is completely A OK as it stands, please stop reading,

WE HAVE THE POWER

Do you deny that as a co-operative race we would not be the most powerful thing in existence, everyone in harmony rather than suffering for the sick needs of the few

Two major things need to happen for us to take back over control of what in the hell is going on, power of businesses first needs to be given back to the people, then eventually the power of media/technology.

From there we can start educating people and then create a voting system that makes more sense, obviously by this point we’d be making group collective decisions, but if they were unsure about how the voting system would go, I’d think something along the lines of being able to pass your vote onto whoever you wish specifically as a person to work in a real democracy and they would essentially speak for that many people in all group collective decisions, and each decision made is then publicly released and if it gets enough negative feedback (X%) it will get a review and possibly not happen until people are more happy with it.

Some Group collective decisions I’d love to start with perhaps:

Homes for all people that are self sufficient so far as food, electricity, water goes

Lets stop using this planet as a trash dumpster and start working with biodegradable materials at the very least, lets stop logging, there is enough already chopped down space, that we could replace with hemp farm, oh but what about the logging industry? What about those workers? Well they would be given jobs on the hemp farm I guess.

Here is a quote from http://www.hemp-technologies.com

Trees take 20 years to mature vs 4 months for Industrial Hemp! Our forests are being cut down 3x faster than they can grow! One acre of hemp produces as much cellulose fiber pulp as 4.1 acres of trees!”

All of a sudden we can produce not only wood 60 times faster and create 4.1 times the amount of cellulose fiber pulp, this would mean as much building materials as we could possibly need to build homes for people especially mixed in with some ideas from the earth ships etc, e.g. used tires etc

On top of this, we could be producing carbon neutral fuels for vehicles etc

Creating medicines, food, paper, the list goes on and on.

Okay 2 basic concepts working in unison and what do we have already

Homelessness gone, probably 1000’s or millions of species saved on this planet, carbon footprint stopping and even starting to reverse, weakens oil/war/cruelty businesses,

And then you get the bounce off effects that would cause because of the brilliantness of the co-operative approach to life that brought this on to begin with

Things could be changing very fast

As the final blow to the current power regime, we will create our own decentralised money system I.E. Cryptocurrencies and actually have one that works for the people instead of 85 lunies on a jewel incrusted bus (sorry Russel, I’ve lent my revolution book to a friend and can’t quote).

Peace, love and happiness to you all

Writing and the great

I was watching Alexander the other day with my partner (yes I know raunchy gay sex)
And it piqued back up my interest in how much change a person can make in the world.

I have always been fascinated by Egypt, more than their ability to create the oldest ancient wonder of the world, the only one still intact, and one that modern day engineers are a bit unsure as to how they did it, (besides that they killed thousands of slaves) was the fact that they created writing! Every person reading this owes that to them (I say them as no one is sure who wrote the first hieroglyph) and so we have been able to record human history over the last 5 and a half thousand(ish) years. The mind boggles to think what happened before then, were we simply animals before that stage? I doubt it, as marks of 'civilisation' were around long before that.

Something else that sings to me about egypt, is the show of pure will, how one person can control so many, without the need for physical dominance, the power of the human mind as I went into in my last post. That power is limitless, which is why I can't definitely say that any religion is wrong, or that at one time in history witches and wizards did not exist. I am a believer that anything is possible, if you TRULY believe in something, it can manifest itself as 'real', too many times children are told that they can't do something, and that the world is harsh, and the world is a BAD place, and so they grow up with this belief, and you know what, the world IS a bad place, but not because of the things that happen, the 'bad' things happen because people believe in them. Of course it would be impossible (near ;) ) to change everyone's beliefs on this in an instant, but if you look at all of the historical figures throughout history who achieved anything humongous, you will see it started off with a belief!

But I digress, this does not tap into the origin of writing, and its meaning to me. Writing, gave the less physically powerful, a means to be powerful beyond what the most muscled up 'alpha male' could ever hope to acomplish. The power behind words is huge! In the end, there is only one thing that a person can change that will effect their life and all that they do, and all that they experience, and that is their mind. So in saying that, if you are able to change someones mind, you essentially have a higher level of control, and people wonder why there is such a huge gap between our rich and our poor, they are afraid to lose this power.

I went to a comedy festival gig last night, and I saw Will Anderson, very funny, I would reccomend it to anyone, but there was one point he made that really stuck with me; 85 people have as much resources at their disposal as half the world (3.5 billion people) now this is staggering, there has never been a time in history when the ratio has been so large in proportion, (mostly because the population only hit 1 billion, just over 200 years ago) and yet, I don't know of any of these people doing any AMAZING things (in my mind) to compare with the pyramids. This is because, they too are trapped, constantly striving for an increase of a number on their screen, the money isn't even real any more, it's now just a meaningless number, most of which will not be used by themselves, what most people don't understand is that money isn't actually valuable, money is a concept, a concept the numeration of the value of products and services.

One day I plan on being VERY rich, first because I want to live in comfort and not have to do anything that I want to do, admittedly selfish, but that's fine with me. And secondly, to put me in a position to make REAL change in this world, I will start a revolution in my time, the world WILL NOT know what hit it, too much injustice, too much wrong with this world, I'm not saying I will fix it all, but I'm going to fucking try!

As always, love to you all

Tom
